BKB is using the Forturo Software for 2 Purposes, namely:
- Help Desk
- Asset Management
The Help Desk portion of the system assists the IT Department in keeping control and record of outstanding job requests, both for program / system changes and technical assistance.
It serves as a time management system as well. The job costing portion allows us to recover costs from the users.
The current Asset Management system, which forms part of the ERP system is too cumbersome and time consuming. Information on that system is also incomplete.
The Forturo system allows us to record movement of computer assets rapidly and updated information is available a lot quicker.
The system was implemented by the Bennetts Technical team, and it went well. It was done in a very professional manner within the scheduled timeframe.
